London College of Business Studies was established in July 2006 in West London as a non-profit and charitable organisation. Founded by Mr Zubair Ahmad and a group of dedicated trustees, the college began by specialising in accountancy education and was registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
In April 2008, the college relocated to Albert Embankment in Central London, marking a significant period of growth and development. This move enabled the expansion of the academic offering beyond accountancy to include a diverse range of mainly Higher Education programmes such as ESOL, Computing, Business, Travel and Tourism, Hotel Management, Healthcare, Financial Services, Media and Journalism, Advertising, and Marketing.
Since 2013, the college has proudly welcomed and supported local UK-based students, further strengthening its presence and contribution within the community. Over the years, the college has successfully delivered a wide array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional qualifications, reflecting its commitment to providing comprehensive and flexible educational pathways.
In 2019, London College of Business Studies moved to its current location in East London, continuing its mission with renewed focus and reach. All programmes are led by experienced tutors who combine academic expertise with practical insights drawn from the business and commercial sectors.
To date, the college has taught tens of thousands of students from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities in a range of Higher and Further Education. With a strong emphasis on adaptability, inclusivity, innovation, and academic excellence, we remains dedicated to its founding mission: to provide accessible, high-quality education that empowers individuals and transforms lives.
London College of Business Studies has enabled a number of its learners to develop as individuals and achieve their academic goals.This is achieved through a number of learning opportunities available to learners including the work based learning opportunities through the College’s work based learning arrangements. Led by a team of experienced educationalists with a passion to create success, the College has an excellent record in assessments, enabling students to access University degree courses through the HNC and HND courses. Tuition is given in small groups or individually where appropriate, whilst all the tutors and lecturers are qualified teachers and/or experienced business people. It is this experience brought to bear in an intimate and purpose built setting that allows us to deliver good results. London College of Business Studies is in London which also has some of the finest university/learning centres. Above all, London College of Business Studies is an enjoyable and relaxed place to study and to work and our positive impact on our students’ and staff’s lives are what we are most proud of.
