Student Finance

A Tuition Fee Loan is available to most UK full-time undergraduate students. The loan will match the amount of tuition fees you have to pay and is administered by the Student Loan Company. The tuition fee loan is paid directly to the College.

A maintenance loan for living costs is also available. The amount you get depends on your personal circumstances and your household income.

You do not have to apply for a tuition fee loan from the Student Finance to fund your studies. Some students use private funding or employer sponsorship to pay for their course.

Course Structure

To be awarded this qualification, learners must achieve 120 credits at a minimum of a pass in each of the 6 mandatory units. Please refer to the list of units in appendix A or the unit summaries in section 2 for further information. To achieve this qualification, learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all LOs of the units as detailed in this Qualification Specification. A partial certificate may be requested for learners who do not achieve the full qualification but have achieved at least one whole unit; partial achievement certificate fees can be found in the Fees and Pricing document on the NCFE website.
